Australian Labradoodles emerged from early generation Labradoodles in the late 1980s in Australia....An amalgam of Labradoodle, Irish Water Spaniel, Curly-Coated Retriever, English and American Cocker Spaniel. The influence of these other pure is evidenced by the thicker coat, and longer ears.
